2020年10月に「温室効果ガスの排出を全体としてゼロにする2050年カーボンニュートラル、脱炭素社会の実現を目指す」ことを国が宣言したことにより、環境負荷の少ない自然・再生可能エネルギーへの転換等が加速される中、地下の熱源を利用して発電に寄与する地熱井の掘削業務に携わる技術者はその活躍を益々期待されています。

With the government’s declaration in October 2020 to “aim for carbon neutrality by 2050, achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions, realizing a decarbonized society,” the shift to environmentally friendly natural and renewable energy is accelerating. In this context, engineers involved in the drilling of geothermal wells—which contribute to power generation by using underground heat sources—are increasingly expected to play key roles.
At your Geopower Drilling Technology School, we hope students are given a solid foundation in the relevant technologies and develop into immediately effective engineers through on-site training. INPEX Drilling Co., Ltd. will not only provide workplaces where your graduates can thrive but will also pursue company-wide efforts to contribute to achieving the 2050 carbon neutrality goal.

Education,training and future prospects for hired students

株式会社INPEXドリリングは、2012年4月に親会社である株式会社INPEX（旧国際石油開発帝石）の削井現業部門と統合したことにより、生業とする地熱井関連の業務のみならず、石油・天然ガス井の掘削、地球温暖化防止に資する二酸化炭素を地中に貯留する坑井の掘削、地震災害の予防に役立つ深部地震観測井掘削等、様々な坑井掘削を行っています。

そのため、冬場の閑散期において、計画的かつ効率的なプログラムによる各種研修を実施するほか、必要な資格や技術の取得促進はもとより、自己啓発として、取得したい資格等の応援もします。 将来的には、自ら坑井掘削計画を立案・実行・管理し、社会に大きく貢献していただきます。

After integrating with the drilling division of our parent company, INPEX Corporation (formerly INPEX Oil & Gas Development Co., Ltd.) in April 2012, INPEX Drilling Co., Ltd. has been involved not only in geothermal well operations but also in the drilling of oil and natural gas wells, wells for underground CO₂ storage that help prevent global warming, and deep earthquake observation wells that aid in earthquake disaster prevention.
Therefore, during the slower winter season, we conduct various planned and efficient training programs. We actively encourage the acquisition of necessary qualifications and skills, and we also support employees in obtaining additional qualifications for self-development. In the future, we expect our employees to independently plan, execute, and manage well drilling operations, making significant contributions to society.

奨学金返還支援制度を導入致しました
Implementation of scholarship repayment support system

株式会社INPEXドリリングは奨学金を返還する社員の経済的な負担を軽減して、安心して仕事に専念してもらうために、2023年12月1日から奨学金返還支援（代理返還）制度を導入しました。支援内容は、日本学生支援機構（JASSO）からの奨学金について本人が返還している場合に、10年間で総額1,800,000円（月額では本人の月額返還額を上限として15,000円）を限度として代理返還するというものです。

To reduce the economic burden on employees repaying student loans and help them focus on their work with peace of mind, INPEX Drilling Co., Ltd. introduced a scholarship repayment support (proxy repayment) system as of December 1, 2023. Under this program, if employees are repaying scholarships from the Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO), the company will repay on their behalf for up to 1,800,000 yen over 10 years (with a monthly limit of 15,000 yen, capped the employee’s monthly repayment amount).
